Arr, shiver me whatsits, splice the main thingy! Here be a picture I did of my friend Lisa, as a thank you for putting up with my nonsense over the past year. We played Captain Cuttlefish and Scupper in the pantomime Dick Whittington way way back in 2014 and we’ve been referring to each other by those names ever since. I tend not to do the pirate voice much these days, only when I’ve been on the grog.

Sort of a caricature. Today wasn’t such a waste after all.
Emma Stone portrait 23rd September 2014
I watched Anchorman 2 last night. I drew this picture today. The two events may be interrelated.
Ron Burgundy caricature. August 30th 2014
Being the generous sort of soul I am I decided to forgoe my nightly sleep and instead work to bring you this caricature of cheery pop sensation Morrisey in his heyday. The problem with working this late/early is that my inner critic decides to go on strike and I can’t tell whether what I’m doing is actually any good. Anyway, don’t say I never give you anything.
Morrisey caricature. 23rd August 2014
Back in 2009/2010 (can’t remember when), soon after Matt Smith had been cast as the new face of The Doctor, I thought it would be a good idea to do a fansplurge of a caricature, and this is as far as I ever got. I wanted it to have a dark and ethereal quality, but it ended up more brown and muddy, but I think it’s a good likeness at least.
Also, here’s a special version with the contrast whacked right up so you can see it better.
I’d like to finish it properly someday, but I’d have to go back and fix some of the drawing.
